In year 2, we have been mathematicians and explored the mini clocks. Today we focused on o'clock 🕚 and half past🕣. We then tested each other to see if we could tell the time.

Year one have been being scientists and dissecting plants to explore the various parts such as leaves, stem, flower and roots.

We hope that you love our new planting arrangements around our front foyer!

The plants were donated to the school and our fabulous reception children helped to plant them and position them to make our school look warm and welcoming!

Massive shout out to Mrs J for doing this with our children and to Miss Potts and Mrs J for organising our grounds days and making MBK look beautiful!

Don't forget that we have our whole school exhibition on Wednesday from 3:15pm to 4:00pm. This is your opportunity to come and see our class displays linked to our learning over the last term. We hope you can pop in for a look!

This term in RE year 1 have been learning about shabbat and why it is a special day for Jewish people. For our last RE lesson of the term, we had our own shabbat ceremony with a homemade challah bread.

Thank you to everyone who attended our year 2/3 exhibition today. The work was incredible and we are so proud of our wonderful children.

Year five have enjoyed making booklets about The Five Pillars in RE.

EYFS joined with their friends from Abacus this week for their welly day session and made these great bug hotels for their garden! 🪳🪱🐛🪲🕷️🦋

Year 2 enjoyed a great performance and workshop about The Great Fire of London. We were part of an interactive play and afterwards we designed new houses to rebuild London. Thank you Trunk Theatre! We had a great morning!

This week, Ladybirds and Kingfishers have done some amazing collaborative learning. With help from the Year 6s, we learned about the keys on a keyboard and had a go at writing our names using a word processor.
