The Dicta Podcast is a new venture by the Dicta Magazine team this year. It's content will complement that of the magazine while also exploring other interesting and relevant legal topics. The podcast editor will be responsible for the technical and production aspects of the podcast. Key responsibilities include:

Editing raw audio and turning it into a professional end-product.
Overseeing the post-production process and advising the podcast directors on technical matters.
Assisting the podcast directors in researching topical legal issues.
Managing the publication of the podcast to multiple streaming platforms.

We encourage applicants to submit examples of their previous editing work to support their applications, although this is not compulsory - applications without supporting evidence will be considered where strong answers are provided to the substantive questions in this application form. Please email supporting evidence to both Sam ([email protected]) and Hui Ling ([email protected]).

In partnership with Latham & Watkins’ LGBTQ+ Lawyers Group, Latham & Watkins will be hosting an open day at their London office on Wednesday 8 November. This event will provide students with a valuable opportunity to find out more about a career in law, learn more about our inclusive culture, and meet with members of our LGBTQ+ Lawyers Group. The event will include an overview of the firm, an insight into the exciting global nature of our work, as well as an opportunity to hear from, and pose questions to, a panel of current trainees and associates who are part of our LGBTQ+ Lawyers Group. You’ll also hear some tips from our graduate recruitment team on how to approach the application process.
