Don't let the cloudy skies fool you this morning. It is already a mild 20°C down by the river!

The sun might still be hiding behind the clouds, but we have got a proper breeze moving across the water today.

The conditions are spot-on for a lovely sail. Grab your gear, head down to the club, and we will see you on the slipway! 💨

Catch the final sunset of the season out on the water! ⛵🌅

Tomorrow, Wednesday 9th September, marks our last Wednesday evening sailing session of the year at Bristol Avon Sailing Club. To make sure everyone can maximize the remaining daylight, we are running a fast-paced sprint race starting at 18:30 sharp.

Here is what you need to know:
Race Start: 18:30 (please arrive early to rig and get on the water)
Goal: A quick, fun race so everyone finishes safely before twilight
Afterward: Stick around to toast to a fantastic summer season of evening sailing!

The sun is shining, the weather is warm, and we have a fantastic South Westerly breeze out on the water right now. Whether you are rigging up your dinghy or launching a paddleboard, conditions are absolutely ideal.

No wind? No problem! ☀️😎

It'll be a gorgeous, hot one down at Bristol Avon Sailing Club today! The breeze might be taking a little holiday, but that just means the water is glassy, smooth, and perfect for exploring.

Skip the sails today and hop onto one of our club paddleboards or grab some oars for a spin in the rowing boats. It is the ultimate way to beat the heat and enjoy the river.

Come on down, the water, and cold drinks at the bar, will be lovely! 🚣‍♂️

Fantastic day on the water today! ⛵ The breeze was perfect for some brilliant, energetic sailing—definitely feeling the workout! 💪 Nothing beats a thrilling session followed by a delicious roast dinner at the club afterwards. 😋🥩 Great company and great food. Thanks to everyone who made it a top day!
