Thanks St Pauls Learning Centre for your support!
We are pleased to have the Crossing Coasts, a project from My Future My Choice, here at St Pauls Leaning Centre. The project involves a set of ‘top trumps’ style cards which celebrate the Windrush generations contributions to be found in and around Bristol.
Who? 52 real people with Caribbean heritage. From pioneers who migrated to the UK after WW2 to the younger generations still in school.
What? Top-Trump style cards recognising contributions to the UK in 13 sectors of work and life, along with a blank card to imagine ancestry and vision their future.
Why? To celebrate the global nature of UK society using a decolonised narrative and raise awareness of the help that is available to anyone with issues or injustices over their citizenship status.
Find out more information and access the whole set of cards here: https://www.myfuturemychoice.co.uk/bespoke-projects-/crossing-coasts/crossing-coasts-card-pack-
