St Brendan's Sixth Form College

⚽🏆 Earlier this week we hosted our first-ever Year 10 six-a-side football tournament at the St Brendan's Sports Pavilion.

We welcomed teams from Wellsway, Norton Hill and St Gregory’s, with 6 teams competing in a fantastic event 👏

A huge well done to our Year 12 students - Adi, Tilly, Ollie and Freddie - who did an amazing job refereeing throughout the event 🙌

Congratulations to Wellsway B, who took home the trophy after a dramatic penalty shoot-out! 🥇

It was great to see such positive feedback from visiting staff and students, with many impressed by our facilities and the professionalism of our student referees ⭐

A huge congratulations to our Year 13 students who took part in the RSC's UK Chemistry Olympiad – the leading chemistry competition for secondary students across the UK.

This challenging competition is designed to push students beyond the curriculum, testing their knowledge in new and real‑world contexts while developing creativity and advanced problem‑solving skills 🔬

We’re so proud of everyone who took part and especially those who were awarded certificates for their achievement 👏 An incredible accomplishment in such a prestigious competition!

We are so proud of two of our outstanding A Level Dance students, Felix and Gi, as they take their next exciting steps into the world of professional dance 💫

Felix will be heading to Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London, and Gi to The Northern School of Contemporary Dance Conservatoire - truly amazing achievements! 🎓🩰

Both have been dancing since a young age, and their passion, dedication and talent have shone throughout their time at St Brendan’s. It’s been a privilege to support their growth and watch them flourish into the dancers they are today.
