Congratulations Shantae! 🌟

At just 17 years old, she has became the youngest English gymnast competing at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, delivering an outstanding 4th-place all-around finish in the Women’s Team against a field packed with Olympians and World medalists. 🤸‍♀️

She continued her impressive form in the bars final, securing a fantastic 5th place finish and showing the composure and talent that have already taken her from the World Championships stage to the Commonwealth Games. We couldn't be more proud of everything she has achieved so far. 🥉👏

We wish you all the very best Shantae 🌟

📣 A reminder for parents and carers of September starters…

To help your young person make the best possible start at St Brendan’s, all summer tasks should be completed and ready to hand in at their first lesson in September.

All summer task information and resources can be found in the September Starters section of our website.

If you have any questions about summer tasks or starting college, our team will be happy to help at enrolment.

We look forward to welcoming our new students to St Brendan’s this September! 🍂📚

🌿🐝 Did you know we're home to the rare Bee Orchid on campus?

Around 20 Bee Orchids have been spotted growing across the College grounds. By leaving some areas unmown, these fascinating wildflowers can flower, set seed and spread naturally. 🌱

The orchids are just one example of our commitment to supporting biodiversity on campus, alongside plans to rewild areas of the grounds and create more habitats for wildlife. 🌼🍃

📸 A special thanks to St Brendan's student Ethan for capturing these fantastic photos and helping to showcase our Bee Orchids. 💚
