It's that time of year again. By the end of the month our timelines are going to be full of photos from all over the world and we can't wait. Whether you're taking on Mount Kilimanjaro, delving deep into the Himalayas to Everest Basecamp or winding your way to Machu Picchu we want to see.

Hello! I’m Maisie and I’m very excited to be joining Tom on the Student Fundraising Team.
I’ve been working in charity fundraising for almost two years now, and I love helping people reach their goals while raising money for a great cause. I’m a bit of a challenge enthusiast myself, having taken part in the London Landmarks and Hackney Half Marathons, and was lucky enough to trek to Machu Picchu in 2023, so I know just how rewarding these experiences can be.
I can’t wait to meet you all and support you with your fundraising journeys. We’re so grateful for your commitment to helping defeat meningitis. Our work wouldn't be possible without people like you.

We are happy to announce the Content Competition for 2026! Anyone taking on one of our challenges can enter! Now, we know what the mountains or the running course looks like... That's not necessarily what we're after... We want to see you! We want to see you and the team, having the time of your life. The candid moments around the dinner table laughing your head off. The pure triumph of reaching the summit. Or, the little side quests along the way. The moments which will stick with you forever. Ideally, decked out in Meningitis Research Foundation stash! (But this is not compulsory!)

A couple days after you've completed your challenge you will receive and email with a link to upload the photos you want to enter. With the deadline for entering being the 16th October and the winner being announced the following week on Friday 23rd October.

First place will receive a £100 Amazon voucher with a £50 Amazon voucher for the runner up and these will be voted on by the fundraising team here at MRF!
