Important update for Parents and Carers

We are currently experiencing a Bristol wide outage affecting Schools IT systems and communications.

As a result a number of systems we normally rely on are currently unavailable or disrupted.
This may affect emails, school apps, online platforms and our normal communication channels.

Our school remains fully open and safe. We have contingency arrangements in place for communications, safeguarding and learning while the issue is being resolved.

We appreciate your patience and understanding if responses are delayed.

PLEASE ONLY CALL THE SCHOOL IF THE MATTER IS URGENT.

Thank you for your support in this situation.

Year 11 – Post-16 Options & College Open Events

Year 11 students will be thinking about their Post-16 options they will have the opportunity to meet with our independent careers advisers, Donna and Dave, for advice and guidance on their next steps.

We have also put together a list of upcoming College Open Events to help students and families explore their options.

Please check individual college websites to confirm dates and times and to book your place. For colleges with multiple campuses, make sure you select the correct campus and check which courses and qualifications are offered there, as some colleges hold separate events for A Levels and vocational courses.

We encourage students to attend open events wherever possible to help them explore their options and make informed choices about their next steps.

Free Period Products

At St Bernadette Secondary School, we firmly believe that no-one should go without the essential products they need during their period.

As part of our commitment to tackling period poverty, we’re once again offering free bags of period products to take home.

These are completely free of charge and made available through the Period Poverty Scheme we’re proud to be part of.

If your child feels uncomfortable collecting a bag, parents and carers are also welcome to collect them from the school reception, arranged by calling 01173772050 or emailing [email protected]

Please encourage your child to pick up a bag – no one should go without.
