I'm an ex maths teacher who just loves maths. In short, I'm a qualified mathematics teacher who joined the RAF as a commissioned officer.
I work with students of all levels with equal enthusiasm, from those who find maths challenging and need some additional support to get a pass, through to those seeking the highest grades. Before enlisting, I taught maths for 5 years at The Cavendish School, a comprehensive secondary school for 11-16 year olds, in Eastbourne. You're never too old to learn maths!
Oldest ever GCSE maths student passes exams AGED 92 with highest grade Derek Skipper, of Orwell, Cambridge, signed up to take the exam to challenge himself - and passed his maths GCSE with the highest possible grade. He said he was 'delighted' with his result.

Today is GCSE results day and I have been delighted with the achievements of each and every one of my mathematicians.
My Foundation students did very well, mostly scoring a grade 5 (maximum grade for Foundation).
My Higher students all passed with flying colours, including one who achieved a coveted grade 9 (maximum grade for Higher).
I wish them all the very best for their futures.
