We develop, manufacture and sell Soundbeam - The award winning assistive / accessible / musical tech

Soundbeam is an amazing and unique touch free musical instrument which uses motion sensors and switches to translate body movements into music and sound. The first version appeared back in mid-1980's brain child of composer Edward Williams ( BBC 'Life on Earth' series). It is now a main stay piece of technology used in special needs centres, schools and care homes across the world.

An amazing free event. We love The Shouting Mute

Calling parents/ carers of young people who use (or are learning to use) AAC. The free online event is a chance to hear from , learn from and chat to an AAC role model.

Meet Dave from The Shouting Mute. Dave's presentation will explore his own journey as a young AAC user through to adulthood and how his device has enhanced his communication, independence and has opened doors of opportunity, through working in theatre, creating and producing original music, performing live on stage and going into schools, colleges and universities delivering inspirational talks and workshops.

Dave is a poet, activist, mentor and musician who runs his own disabled led inclusive arts company that challenges society's expectations of disability: The Shouting Mute.

After Dave's presentation, and short performance of a song on Soundbeams , there will be time for Q&A with Dave and to chat with other parents attending.
