Well this is it! The end of 4 years of childminding with this one! I've been on a huge journey along with my fabulous families and babies. Thank you to all of you for supporting me endlessly through starting my own business, covid times, the highs and the lows! I have learned so much and cannot begin to imagine life without all the little ones running around every day. Alex is off to school in Sept and I am going into a new role supporting new and established childminders in Bristol with all things early years so I can continue my passion.
Happy Easter holidays!

Spring painting! My one year old and 4 year old did this activity and both independently. They were mesmerised by the real flowers and looked really closely to create their flower pictures. I love their interpretations.🌼

Being able to take a resource to a different space is a must! The resources are accessible for the children and they can take them wherever they want. Often they will choose a cosy, den area such as under the table as this offers an enclosed safe space for play and learning.

Snail and the whale!! The children love this story and have started to retell it with the help of our sea creatures, shells and stones. Its so exciting to hear all the new language and vocabulary and see the joy on their faces, making the story their own!

More loose parts play and fine motor development this week. They absolutely love moving things from one place to another so we've added some tongs too and some foam hearts!

Stick man! We walked along the river collecting leaves but they were too wet to stick to our sticks so we talked about what we could do and Alex came home and got out his sticking box with lots of things to stick onto our sticks!
