Spring is upon us... The buds are budding, the days are getting longer and its the perfect time of year to go out mountain biking and get muddy!
We’ve had a great year so far and here’s to it continuing. Some lovely feedback from one of the schools we work with, which we feel encompasses us well;

“It’s great! It’s really helped with my knowledge and confidence in school”
Our new UP+ Programme combines a morning of tutoring with trained teachers, with a usual Urban Pursuit action filled afternoon.
We’ve had huge successes so far: students are engaging well and accessing personalised learning in the core subjects of English and Maths. We’re looking forward to welcoming more to the programme!

Earlier this week we welcomed Joanna Mallinson from the BE Project to deliver an important training on reducing alcohol and drug harms in young people.
We had some good discussions and left the session with deeper knowledge of how we can continue keeping our young people safe and how to best support them should they encounter harm through drugs and alcohol.
Every day is a learning day!

“I’ve always wanted to go on camp my whole life”
A recap of this years summer programme, Operation Wild 🏕️
Our students canoed on the river Wye, built their own shelter and caught their own food. The unknown was conquered, fears were shared, and an invaluable experience was had by all - staff and students alike!
