At The Bristol Montessori we all work as part of a team to get ALL the jobs done. That includes getting our beds ready for our younger friends who like to take a nap after lunch 😍

⭐️NEW BEGINNINGS⭐️

This is always a really interesting time for us. It’s the start of the new academic year. The younger children have the realisation that they are now the older children! This comes hand in hand with a new found confidence to explore new horizons. We watch new friendships form and conversations develop. And with that we see collaborations such as these. It’s a beautiful time at Montessori HQ 😍😍😍

⭐️BALLOON FIESTA⭐️

What better way to celebrate the annual Balloon Fiesta in our very own City of Bristol than by creating our very own HOT AIR BALLOON! If you manage to make it to the fiesta, have a wonderful time 🎈

👌🏽MAKATON👌🏽

At The Bristol Montessori we try to find as many ways as possible to COMMUNICATE with our children and teach them how to communicate with others.

MAKATON is a fantastic way to introduce meaningful non-verbal communication. I wonder how many of us signed “milk” and “more” with our babies?

Children acquire language at different rates for different reasons. This is one strategy that helps lower frustrations and allows children with developing language skills to be “heard”. Great, huh? 👍🏽 😉

What a way to end the week! A whole school trip in the glorious sunshine joined by our wonderful families, a picnic, ice cream, singing, dancing and lots of games. We’re all buzzing ❤️🤗🤗🤗. No filter, it really was this beautiful 🤩
