We are seeking a CASE COORDINATOR / SUPPORT WORKER (Level 3) in childcare to work with us based in our office in Henleaze for 35 hours a week 09:00 - 17:00 5-day week one day to include a day at the weekend either a Saturday or Sunday. The position is office based but also flexible to get out the office and carry out direct work with families, supervising contact between parents and their children in a variety of locations. Overtime available at £12.82 an hour during the week and £15 an hour at weekends.
Essential criteria
- Available to work during the week, days to be agreed, must be happy to work one day at the weekends.
-Must have the use of a car for this position.
- Willing to travel to locations outside of Bristol and have business car insurance
- Minimum of two years’ experience of working with families and/or vulnerable children and young people.
- English and Maths equivalent to a grade C or above.
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in a child related field
- Child protection training an advantage, but training will be given.
- Excellent communication skills and good report writing skills.
- Must be competent with Excel, Word and Access office programmes.
- Previous use of Outlook is desired.
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS.
- This post will require you to have a full current driving licence, a car, and happy to travel.
It is also preferred that you have :-
- Social Work experience or similar field.
- Paediatric First Aid certificate.
Salary depending on experience.
