The Tin Drum Nursery Ltd

A group of the juniors were excited to watch the trains at the station. The driver waved to us from his cabin. 🚂

Today was the School Leavers trip to a very windy Severn Beach. We enjoyed walking in the wind and watching the waves. We explored and built on the beach using materials we found. We climbed on the rocks, had a picnic under the bridge and went for a run around on the grass before going to the park and then back to nursery on the train. We had a great day out!

Today we went to visit our friends at Avenue Care home. We made funny aliens and monsters with stickers, played games and puzzles together. 🥁

We had our first Tennis Tots session. We practiced controlling speed, direction and balance by playing a game about alligators in the swamp. We controlled the ball with our feet, hands and raquets. We learnt that the ball is only allowed to bounce once and you hit the ball up. 🎾 🥁

Today we said goodbye to the chicks what a fantastic experience we have had. 🐥

Avenue Residential Home visit
Last week the children made sand bottles with their friends at Avenue House, they carefully poured different coloured sand into bottles.

This week they were busy threading beads onto pipe cleaners to make octopuses. Lots of careful hand eye coordination skills.

We also played games and puzzles together 🥁

The chicks are doing really well and are now quite big. We have enjoyed watching them eat, sleep and play. 🐥

All 10 chicks have now moved from the incubator to the Brooder box! 🐥

Our last 2 eggs hatched over night.
We now have 10 chicks 🐥

We now have 8 chicks! The children have loved watching them and some got to watch them hatch. 🐥
