Sporting Chance Project

Sporting Chance Project The Sporting Chance Project is an independently run project aiming to meet the educational and lifestyle needs of young people through sport.

Sporting Chance Project is an Alternative Learning Provider that offers mentoring, education and life skills coaching to children and young people who aren’t thriving in mainstream school settings. The project delivers a range of sport and recreation-based activities to engage students in their education. Our activities cover various sports, encourage healthy and positive lifestyles, offer mentoring, teach leadership skills, and give young people exposure to the community and role models in sport. Sporting Chance Project provides innovative and high-quality, sport and recreation-focused learning and development opportunities to develop leadership, enhance education and further career opportunities. We aim to improve the health and well-being of learners including their self esteem and confidence, and we promote and support positive learning experiences that foster success. We offer Sport and vocational education for Key Stage 4 and 5 students, through years 9 to 13, from the ages of 14 to 18 years old.
