•Wow! What a fantastic Disco we had this evening!•
The children were so well behaved, and showing off their best dances moves and their party clothes.

A few Thank You’s to make!

• A very big thank you to the teachers for supporting our event, helping make sure that everything went smoothly and supporting the KS1 children with getting party ready 🎉
• Thank to our incredible parent volunteers who gave up their evening to help decorate, sell reindeer food and other items outside in the cold, and keeping everyone smiling.

We really couldn’t do these events without all your help and support ❤️

And to our wonderful school community for supporting by purchasing tickets and buying from our stall.

And that completes the winter disco complete with snow ✅

Please note- tickets will not be available at the door, they need to be purchased online beforehand please. ⭐️

There will also be a small table too sale of Reindeer food and gift sets available before and during the KS1 disco, and before the KS2 disco. Sales will not be available during or after the KS2 disco.

Wow- what another incredible performance by the EYFS and Year One Children. ⭐️🌟
Well done to everyone involved, it really has been two fantastic nativity shows.

And another big thank you to the incredible parents, grandparents, friends and family who supported the Friends of Meadowbrook PTA with their purchase and kind donations.

Also special mention to Pravybelle's Bakery for their kind donation of the vegan cakes and biscuits. And our lovely Trina- whose sister kindly made us some vegan mine pies. 🤩
Your support has been amazing, and we are so lucky to have you supporting our events!

And a special mention to Pravybelle's Bakery for her kind donation of Vegan biscuits and cakes to our event. They went down a treat and were extremely delicious.

We are back again on Thursday for the second and final performance and would love to see you all- come and ask us about all the exciting events we have planned for 2026. All to raise funds to improve the playground equipment that our children have asked for.

Thank you to those who have already donated to our event- as always, we are super grateful for all the support and contributions we receive. Every event or sale is to help raise funds for the children’s requested cause. They have currently asked for new playground equipment for break times and outdoor play! 🛝

🎄 Mince Pie Appeal! 🥧
Our school nativity celebrations are just around the corner, and we’d love your help to make them extra special.

We’re kindly asking for donations of mince pies to share with families with their drink purchases after each performance.
If you’re able to contribute, please drop your mince pies at the school office during tomorrow’s(Tuesday 9th) drop off or by Thursday drop off.

If you are having a clear out and have any gently loved books looking for a new home, please consider donating them to our PTA to help raise funds for our new playground equipment- as asked for by the children! ☺️

Our PTA is gearing up for a Second-Hand Book Sale, and we need your help! If you have any gently loved books at home(kids’ books, novels, nonfiction, cookbooks, anything) please consider donating them.

Every donated book will be given a new life in someone else’s hands, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly toward supporting our entire school community. ❤️

We know that it’s a very busy time of year with schools and charities asking for donations, especially ahead of the festive period- and we aren’t any different!
As a newly formed PTA committee, we are looking to expand our support within the local community and would be grateful to make new connections who can make our events even better!

We are ,as the PTA, a registered charity and try to keep our costs low so that the money raised can go directly back to what our children have asked for. This year they have asked for new and improved playground equipment, previous years we have provided a forest school. 🌳

With help from the local communities, we can hold bigger, better and more events across the year to help boost our fundraising.
