The wonderful Berru from Turkey left ELC Bristol recently. She was always so positive and was always smiling whenever I saw her anywhere around the school. Thanks for coming to Bristol and we are delighted that you had such a good time with us. We miss you already! 👋🙏

and Runa came back in to school to visit us recently. It was wonderful to see both of them 😊

This is what studying at ELC is all about! Sophie (from the Netherlands) and Runa (from Switzerland) became friends while studying at ELC at the beginning of last year. They became great mates, stayed in touch with each other and visited us together. We love catching up with our ex-students and hearing what they have been up to. It's particularly special meeting students that became friends while they were here at ELC Bristol.

We had a lovely walk through Bristol this afternoon, learning about all the different graffiti artists and styles around the city!

This photo shows a piece by Pixel Pancho, painted as part of See No Evil graffiti festival a few years ago - this year, UpFest returned to Bristol after a year away, and you can walk around Bedminster and see the hundreds of amazing new street art pieces that have gone up as part of this year's festival!

Remember to collect your football match ticket tomorrow from Reception if you are over 18! Shonie will meet you at Ashton Gate Stadium - check the social programme website after 7pm tonight to find out the exact time and location!! We will meet younger students in the city centre - again, check the social programme website for exact times and location!

We've all very much enjoyed our day visiting Oxford!

Some of us also visited Bicester Shopping Village, while others had a go on a punt along the river in this (freakishly) good weather! We have been shopping, visited botanical gardens, drank excellent coffee, and seen many of the glorious old colleges of Oxford University 😍

Next week, we're off to Cheddar Gorge! We'll be back in time for dinner at Za Za for that, too, as it's so close to Bristol!

Well done for your INCREDIBLE efforts at building Clifton Suspension Bridge last night as part of our Summer Party TaskMaster competition - didn't see any Isambards on the register... We didn't realize we had such talented architects in school this term 😍😍😍
