🌟 KINTSUGI WORKSHOP 🌟

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
Come along and learn the Japanese art of kintsugi repair for broken ceramics. Spend a relaxed few hours with like minded folk, mindfully immersed in the processes, tools and materials of kintsugi. You will be supported to complete a repair using epoxy, coated with traditional natural Japanese Urushi (tree sap) lacquer and finished to a stunning gold-hued shine with fine brass powder.

We have a few spots left on our full day Stained Glass Mosaic workshop on Tuesday 12th May. Make your own unique framed design using a wide selection of stained glass offcuts and spend a mindful day being creative in our Staple Hill studio!

We have one space left on our new 3 week dressmaking course where you can make your own Japanese style oversized jacket.

Learn to cut your fabric from a pattern, attach a lining and create pockets and a collar, along with lots of useful sewing tips and tricks!

Are you looking for a fun crafty activity to keep the kids occupied this Easter break?? We have our popular Kids Introduction to Crochet workshop with Quirky crochet coming up next Thursday 16th April where they'll learn the basics of crochet and make their own colourful keychain!

Workshop runs from 10am-1pm, £38 including tools and materials.

Our intermediate sewing students made some beautiful dresses on our Tilly and the Buttons | Learn to sew with easy sewing patterns dressmaking course taught by tutor Jacqui Reeves.

They learnt how to create gathers, neck facings, sew darts and buttonholes, along with lots of core dressmaking techniques.

We love seeing how this dress looks in different fabrics and patterns 😍

We'll be running this one again later in the year but you can find all our courses and workshop listings over on the website.

We had some lovely designs on our Glass Mosaic full day workshop with on Sunday! This is a great opportunity to use up scrap glass and create your own bespoke piece of artwork at our studio in Staple Hill.
