We have a few places left on our Introduction to Stained Glass workshop on Wednesday 1st July. Come along to our Staple Hill studio where you'll make a beautiful glass panel with our expert tutor Karen, who will guide you through the whole process and you'll leave with a finished piece to proudly show off in your home!

For my Mum's birthday last month I treated her to a workshop at the studio and we spent the day creating our own Stained Glass panel together with the help of tutor . We were both complete beginners and ended up with two beautiful finished pieces to show off at home! I've had the studio for nearly two years and I can't believe it's taken me this long to try this workshop lol! It was such a lovely creative experience to share together 🥰

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
Come along and learn the Japanese art of kintsugi repair for broken ceramics. Spend a relaxed few hours with like minded folk, mindfully immersed in the processes, tools and materials of kintsugi. You will be supported to complete a repair using epoxy, coated with traditional natural Japanese Urushi (tree sap) lacquer and finished to a stunning gold-hued shine with fine brass powder.

We had our first Chinese Decorative Arts crafting day on Saturday with our tutor Amy from .bristol. During the morning Amy taught our students how to create their own water marbled artwork and then in the afternoon we had our Chinese Paper cutting session. We're so impressed with the beautiful pieces everyone made 😍

Our intermediate sewing students made some beautiful dresses on our Tilly and the Buttons | Learn to sew with easy sewing patterns dressmaking course taught by tutor Jacqui Reeves.
They learnt how to create gathers, neck facings, sew darts and buttonholes, along with lots of core dressmaking techniques.
We love seeing how this dress looks in different fabrics and patterns 😍
