Baby Sensory is the only baby development programme with classes specifically designed for babies from birth. The classes provide hundreds of simple activities that are fun for parents and babies from birth to 13 months including activities ranging from singing and signing to light shows, parachutes, bubbles and bells; there is always something different. What is really exciting about Baby Sensory is that it is an parent and baby group where many of the sensory materials and baby activities are unique to the programme. You will be delighted when you see your baby use skills that have been learned in our newborn to 6 month baby classes for the first time. You will learn ways to entertain your baby at home and also have the opportunity to meet and chat with other parents.

More dads in class last week!

Whether it’s every week, making the most of parental, family or adoption leave, joining us on a day off, or simply being the one bringing baby to class that week – we love seeing more dads coming along.

Because Baby Sensory isn’t just a mum and baby class.

It’s time with your baby – to play, sing, explore and enjoy all those little reactions together.

Mums, dads, two mums, two dads, adoptive parents, grandparents and all the other special people in your baby’s world.

What a first week back 🧡

We welcomed lots of new little faces, including one of our tiniest at just 4 weeks old, alongside lots of familiar faces coming back for another term.

A few conversations with the mamas really stuck with me too — from simply needing a reason to get out of the house, to finding the postnatal period tough and having something each week to look forward to. And then there are those coming back for their third term!

There are so many lovely things to do whilst on family leave, but baby classes definitely have their place — a bit of structure, a chance to meet other mums (and dads!) and something lovely to do with your baby.

Plus babies naturally enter their rest phase after class… a pretty good opportunity to carry on the chat and grab a hot drink afterwards too ☕🤎
