The one where brain fog got me into a bit of trouble... 🤣

One Sunday evening not that long ago, well around last Christmas looking at the picture, I decided it was time to finally sell my old office chair on Facebook Marketplace.

I’d tripped over it and bruised myself for the umpteenth time, and it just had to go! 🤦‍♀️

It was one of those classic chaotic evenings:

- The Marketplace app was being glitchy and the bloody pic wouldn’t load

- The dog was under my feet 🐶

- My teenager was being a pain in the arse (Nowt new there then!)

Finally, I managed to get the ad to work. But I didn’t bother to check it because I’d had a bloodynough and just wanted to sit down with a glass of wine! 🍷

Imagine my absolute shock the next morning when I woke up to hundreds of messages!

Wow, office chairs are in demand, I thought! Maybe I should have asked for more than a tenner!

But here’s the funny thing… I hadn’t uploaded a picture of the chair. I’d only gone and uploaded a picture of myself.

I had accidentally advertised myself as a bloody chair! For sale. For a tenner! 💷

Most of the messages were absolutely hilarious, but I did have to block one guy for continuing to try his luck days after my faux pas. 😂

Please tell me you have done something this daft? Brain fog has a lot to answer for! 🤣

True story, my friends can vouch for how dizzy I can be. Combine that with peri- menopausal brain fog and I’m a danger to myself! 🤣
