The course includes everything you need to experience and create your own drawings, acrylic paintings, watercolour painting, digital art and lino printing.

In addition, the following topics are tutored through large screen presentations and example works: ​colour theory, materials, composition, impressionist techniques, working with light, exhibiting your work, working from memory and imagination, and much more...​

All materials and paints are supplied, along with hot & cold drinks and biscuits.

The classes are small and friendly, with up to 8 students per class so that every one gets individual attention and guidance.

They are held in a quiet, dedicated studio space with wash up and toilet facilities.

Some amazing watercolours from the first session of the Watercolour & Ink Painting Course.

These fantastic paintings were created using various watercolour techniques including underpainting, layering and even adding salt for texture.

A quick update on the T-Shirt I designed and had discovered had been badly copied on Ebay - The seller has since retracted it.

Then what do I find?! Temu, selling my actual design! Undoubtedly poor quality and inferior, they have even used the photo from my Etsy / artful weasels website!

Yes, that's a lot of exclamation marks, but hey. I'm not happy!

Not only are us artists in danger of AI, but also people stealing our designs!

This T-Shirt (on the left) is the original which I designed by hand and is available on etsy Etsy UK and the artful weasels site. The (inferior) one on the right is a copy on eBay UK.

It's flattering, yes, but stealing revenue from another artists is criminal. Let me know your thoughts...

Here are the very first acrylic paintings to be created on the Beginners Art Course.

As a study in colour, these stunning paintings were created in less than two hours using just two colours!
