Here are last night's fabulous works from the Watercolour & Ink Course.

These wonderful pieces were created using various acrylic and indian ink techniques.

I love to see finished artworks pop into my inbox.

Sometimes there isn't quite enough time in my sessions to get paintings completely finished, so paintings like these from Alison are great to see looking perfect!

These two were started during my most recent Acrylic Painting Course, and with their finishing touches look really wonderful.

Here are the fabulous acrylic paintings from the latest Beginners Art Course.

With a theme of understanding colour, these imaginative works were created using only two colours, using black and white reference photos.

To celebrate International Cat Day on Saturday 8th August, artful weasels will be running an acrylic painting workshop focusing on our feline friends both big and small.

All proceeds from bookings will go to Feline Fine Foundation, a local charity who help cats and their owners in crisis.

4 Hour Acrylic Painting Workshop

The workshop includes step by step guidance and everything you need to complete your own finished 40x30cm acrylic cat painting.

Suitable from complete beginners to more advanced artists you will be introduced to acrylic materials, colour theory, working with colour palettes, impressionist techniques and much more through large screen presentations and example works.

You can work from a selection of supplied reference photos or bring in your own photograph to work from.

All materials and paints are supplied, along with hot & cold drinks and biscuits.

At the end of the workshop a pdf guide will be sent to accompany the workshop, together with photos of your completed works.

The classes are small and friendly, with up to 8 students per class so that every one gets individual attention and guidance.

They are held in a quiet, dedicated studio space with wash up and toilet facilities.

Also includes access to the artful weasels Student area of the website, filled with resources and artist opportunities.

Some photos I took during an inspiring visit yesterday to the Holburne in Bath to see to their Impressionist Printmaking exhibition.

It's well worth seeing (open until September 13th) to see etchings and lithographs by Van Gogh, Cezanne, Manet, Gaugin, Matisse, Toulouse-Lautrec, Picasso and more.
