Today we have been dressed in Red for Comic Relief. We had lots of fun discussing our outfits and painting our noses red.

We have also been taking it in turns to spend some time with the chicks. Discussing the different colours and how fluffy they are now.

We now have 5 chicks that have hatched.

We have some exciting news that our first chick has hatched this morning!

Welcome Baabaa! 🐥

We had lots of fun celebrating World Book Day. The costumes were great and it was lovely to share our books from home with our friends.
Our Under 2's explored the Very Hungry Caterpillar, exploring all the foods that the caterpillar ate and practicing our counting.
Our Preschool 2 children focused on Room on The Broom, making potions in the garden and decorating their own cauldrons.

This week we have been celebrating all things we love, from Mummies and Daddies, Grandparents, Pets and Places. The conversations have been wonderful.
We have had lots of sensory trays and printing patterns, exploring shapes and sizes of different hearts and pouring containers.

Last week we were concentrating on our mark making. Babies used animals to see what footprints they could make in oats. We had lots of fun making different marks with chalk on cardboard boxes, climbing in the box and opening it up to make a big piece of art work together. Preschool were mark making letters in shaving foam and finding the beginning letters of their names.

This months topic is 'Healthy Eating and Hygiene'. This is what we have been up to this week....
