A heartfelt thank you to all the parents, guests, and well-wishers who joined us for Nakshatra Tamil School’s 11th Annual Day Celebration and cheered on our children!

What started with just 6 children has now grown to 60, and we couldn’t be more proud. This year was even more special as we celebrated together with both our Bristol and Gloucester branches.

The real stars of the day were our children—who spoke, sang, danced, and proudly showcased their Tamil language and culture. Their performances were heartwarming and inspiring.

This event was not made possible by one person or one family. It was the combined effort of every single volunteer, working together with dedication and love. We are truly grateful to each and every one of you for your support.

Thank you once again to everyone who took the time to come and support our children. Your presence and encouragement mean so much and give us the motivation to continue this journey next year.

Dear Parents,
We are delighted to welcome you back to a new academic year 2024-2025. We are also opening our new branch in Gloucester this September.

The school will reopen on Saturday 14th of September . The door opens at 3:00pm and class starts at 03:15pm and finishes at 04:45pm. Parents need to be in advance of time to collect their children.

🚀Nakshatra Tamil School is launching its branch at Gloucester🚀

We're thrilled to announce that on our 10th successful year, we are announcing the setting up a new branch of our Nakshatra Tamil School in Gloucester.

Nakshatra Tamil school has a decade-long success in Bristol, committed to teaching Tamil. We are proud to be affiliated with CTA (California Tamil Academy), whose curriculum caters to students for whom Tamil isn't their primary language.

We're pleased to inform you that students from Gloucester are already studying at our Bristol location, and we hope they'll welcome this news. We have also received significant interest from the Tamil community in Gloucester, prompting us to take this initiative.

*We are actively looking for volunteers, if you know anyone, who is keen to join “Nakshatra – Gloucester”, please reach out to us*.

On the birth anniversary of Mahakavi Bharathiyar, we are very proud to present our new Tamil library.
Everyone is welcome to access our library. Please contact us if you would like to borrow books.
