Measles cases are rising nationally and we are urging everyone to make sure they know the signs.

Look out for:
• high fever
• red, sore, watery eyes
• cough
• feeling unwell or aching
• a blotchy rash (usually appears after early symptoms)

If you think your child may have measles, keep them home and call your GP or NHS 111 for advice.

Measles spreads very easily and can be serious. Spotting symptoms early helps stop the spread.

Students had an amazing day at Sea City Museum in Southampton exploring the history of the Titanic, class systems and the impact that the tragedy had on the people of 1912. It was an amazing day, which students engaged with phenomenally! We had a workshop on Investigate the Titanic, a tour and some time to explore the exhibits independently.

If you are having a clear out as the school year draws to a close, please consider donating any uniform that is in good, clean condition to our school. That way, we can pass it on to those who will be able to make use of it. We are in need of branded clothing and ties in particular. If you have any of these items, we'd love to have them. We don't need any shirts. Thank you.

We want to make our families aware of face-to-face advice and signposting available from Compass (South Glos Early Help), currently running from the One Stop Shops in Patchway, Yate and Kingswood. This support is available now to all families who may need information, advice, or signposting for their children and young people. These sessions are also available during the summer holidays when school is closed. Please see the attached poster and scan the QR code for details of drop-in sessions — no appointment needed.
