How do you feel about climate change? Do you think progress is being made? Are you sick of hearing about it? Do you have faith that everything will be alright – or are you deeply troubled and wondering what you can do at home and at work?
Professor Glenn Lyons will be posing these questions at a webinar on Tuesday 7 November, 12:30-13:30.
Attendance is free but please register to attend at the link below.

"Transport should not be a risk factor for young people’s prospects."
Today, we published a 'bus stories' blog with the help of our friends at the Urban Transport Group. The blog gives a voice to 18 year old school leavers following research interviews we held last year. Their experiences illustrate how buses are vital for young adults accessing education and employment, as well as for their personal development.
“If you want to get outside, you’re gonna have to use a bus”- Stories on how the bus is a lifeline for many young adults | Urban Transport Group
Dr Sarah Collings of the University of the West of England blogs on how buses are vital for young adults to access education and employment, and for building life-skills, following interviews with 17 and 18-year-olds.

Calling all UWE students! Please follow the link to complete this quick e-scooter survey, and tell us your scooter stories! This survey is for both scooter users and non-users, to try and understand everyone's views.
We are conducting a piece of research into people's experiences of the Voi e-scooter trial in Bristol.
The Voi scooter scheme in the West of England is a trial, currently due to end in March of this year. Views from users and non-users of the scooters are essential in helping make decisions about whether the scheme should continue, whether the scooters have a more permanent place on our streets, and if so, what changes might need to be made to address any issues or barriers to safe and effective use.
The research is being led by two of our recently graduated Geography students, Monique Taratula-Lyons and Anna Speak, supported by Ian Shergold and me, from the Centre for Transport and Society here at UWE.
Please also share with your contacts, your help is much appreciated!
