Dear Parents and Carers,

Due to the extreme weather conditions forecast for the coming days, we have made the difficult decision to close the nursery on Wednesday and Thursday.

As we care for some of the most vulnerable children, their health, safety, and wellbeing must remain our highest priority. The extreme temperatures expected make it difficult for us to provide a safe environment for all children and staff.

We would also encourage parents and carers to collect their children at lunchtime today, where possible, before temperatures reach their highest levels later this afternoon.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and support as we take these precautionary measures.

Thank you,
Ilminster Avenue Nursery
