Our little explorers had the most wonderful, memorable day out at Elms Farm for our Forest School session! 🌳✨
From greeting the friendly cows in the field to gathering sticks and watching in awe as our campfire flickered to life, it was a day packed with pure joy and discovery.

We also learned all about the tiny mice that call the forest home and crafted our very own clay mice to take back with us! To top off an unforgettable outdoor adventure, we collected fallen acorns and fashioned our own nature necklaces.

As part of our monthly book, The Colour Monster, our little artists had so much fun creating their very own colourful monsters using glue, tissue paper, and craft materials! ✂️🎨

While sticking and creating, we talked about the different colours we chose, what emotions each monster represented, and how we were all feeling. It was a wonderful, hands-on way to support emotional literacy, fine motor skills, and creative self-expression in a fun and encouraging environment! 🌟👏
