π¬ A brand-new national educational film is officially underway!
We're excited to be working with our friends at GWR and Crimestoppers in the West Country to produce 'Full Steam Ahead' - a pioneering film exploring Violence Against Women and Girls, with a particular focus on safety whilst travelling.
Over the coming weeks, 15 young people from Brimsham Green School Official will work alongside our team to explore the issues that matter most to them, helping to write, shape and star in the film. (β¨Fun fact! Brimsham Green is Lauren, our very own Creative Producer and Play Facilitator's, old school!)
This week marked the start of their creative journey, as they began developing ideas, sharing perspectives and exploring the themes they want to bring to life on screen.
Not only will these young people benefit from the creative and educational opportunities this project provides, they'll also become powerful voices in a national campaign launching later this year as part of the 16 Days of Activism.
A huge thank you to GWR for making this work possible through the Community Fund. We're proud to be delivering this project in partnership with Crimestoppers and supporting young people to learn more about Fearless, their youth service for sharing information anonymously.
Watch this space for more exciting updates! πβ¨
