Year 5 and 6 have been researching seasonal and local foods this term in DT. They used their knowledge to create a three course menu - very ambitious! Today, they learned to prepare their chosen starters: garlic bread, asparagus and egg, carrot salad with apple and parsley. It was a feast! Watch this space for next week’s main course: pasta primavera!

To mark the occasion of Sir David Attenborough’s 100th Birthday, the Reception class, along with Years 1 and 2, were inspired to bake and decorate 100 cakes. We used this as an opportunity to sell the cakes and learn more about the value of coins, and of course, talk about the amazing man and his achievements. We can definitely chalk this up as a success. 🧁

Excitingly, we have started our two-year student exchange programme between Divergenta school (Bern, Switzerland), Cleve and Wotton House. Last week, we welcomed the first group of Swiss students and staff to Bristol and began the process of getting to know one another across the three schools involved. As an international school, we are embracing the opportunity to encourage our students to make new friends and international connections. We are incredibly proud of our young people for being such stellar ambassadors for our school and our city. They reached out and welcomed our visitors, making it an enjoyable experience for everyone taking part. What an incredible start to our international film project!

We had a cracking end to a very busy term here at with all pupils searching for their egg 🍫🥚
The lower school put on a show for their parents which was a culmination of drama lessons, music lessons and Cleve Choir.
Exceptional courage and determination was displayed and everyone did an amazing job, we were so proud!
They performed a creative performance of ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’, a fun ‘Spring Chicken’ song and Cleve Choir sang songs from all around the world. A truly wonderful way to end the term. Wishing all our families a blessed Easter break. 🐣
