I returned to life drawing tonight after several years.
I sweated for the first 15 mins and almost walked out. Never look at the person next to you.... 🤣
I felt very rusty and fumbly. These are the only two I am willing to show you as the rest were utterly embarrassing, but I made progress, and I will return and get better.
Ten mintute sketches in charcoal and pastel.
I don't do feet...

New work is emerging!
Patchwork Landscapes , Lido Ladies, and my annual batch of Guardian Angels are all on the go!
I'm starting to get my Xmas mojo on!

And, if you're still waiting on an order, anything that was ordered before the 10th Sept will be sent by the end of this week! 😊

First firing for these little ones!
I only make these once a year. Miniature landscapes that will become part of some small panels that will be available in November trail...
Such a satisfying process, even if I do have to hold my breath for most of it... 🤣

The nights are slowly drawing in
Our lake temperature is rapidly declining.
All I can think of is how cold it will be in 5 weeks when I can swim again. I usually love swimming in September, watching the change of season and the colour switch.
I wanted to pop this on my feed as colour inspiration, I didn't see much green this year because of the droughts. This piece was made from my Nans old crockery. I inherited what I used to call 'her Royal Cabinet' as it was stuffed full of bits that she had collected from the charity shop! I was only allowed to look at things and not touch them. I upcycled the cabinet and added some of my favourite things.
It seemed fitting to make something out of things that had sat there locked away for years!
