One of my summer highlights was travelling to Barnardo's Blaenau Gwent to give the parents and children a summer holiday hands on, chocolate making experience. We had such fun and everybody left with the goodies they created. As always, biggest thanks to Joe Harper for organising, and to Cardiff uni student Emily for assisting me.

My pop up six wines, six small plates events now have limited availability over the summer x

This is me, Clevedon based private chef, Lisa Clarke.
Together with my wine merchant husband, Ed, we host pop up events twice a month in our dining room near to Clevedon seafront.
We choose a theme, and then match six wines to six perfectly curated small plates of food.
It’s fun, it’s sociable!
You may find your new favourite wine!
Bookings are taken in pairs, or you can join a list if your a solo diner, so that we don’t have an odd number around our dining room table!

Chocolate Masterclass, in a heatwave?!

Working with chocolate when the ambient air temp is high, requires experience, skill and knowledge.

Boy, I needed the peace and tranquility of a sunset and a cup of herbal tea after work yesterday!! My brain cells felt quite shredded!!!!

Ten days ago I spent the best time with my local East Clevedon Brownie pack, sharing chocolate, eating chocolate and talking about all things chocolate! Then together we made chocolates and packaged them up for Father’s Day gifts. It was such a special and memorable evening, with some incredible brownie leaders and super enthusiastic brownies
This is the proof of what was made, for any Dad whose chocoholic daughter couldn’t resist eating them.
Let’s be realistic, ten days is a long time to wait!!!
