Founded in 2004, Working Knowledge exists to bridge the gap between education and the workplace.

We unlock employees' talent through practical, results-driven training, helping professionals and their organisations to grow with expert-led programmes. Working Knowledge was founded in 2004 to bridge the gap between education and the workplace. Too much talent, young and old, is being wasted in dead-end jobs and zero-hour contracts or an education that is not properly preparing people for a care

Last Friday, we were delighted to welcome guest speaker Adam Margolin to our Friday webinar.

Adam Margolin has over 20 years of marketing experience, having worked with companies such as Spa and McColl's Retail Group before starting his consultancy in 2016. Throughout his career, Adam has crafted successful marketing strategies for a diverse range of clients, from top-tier FTSE companies to ambitious start-ups and non-profit organisations.

In our session, Adam focused on how to leverage LinkedIn to its fullest potential.

Some of the takeaways from Adam’s webinar were:

1. Optimising Your LinkedIn Profile: Ensuring your profile is complete and professional can increase your visibility and engagement significantly. This includes a high-quality profile picture, a compelling headline, and a detailed summary.

2. Growing Your Network: Building connections on LinkedIn is vital. Adam emphasised the importance of connecting with people you know, joining relevant groups, and following industry influencers to expand your reach.

3. Engaging with Content: Regularly interacting with content through likes, comments, and shares helps keep you active and visible on LinkedIn. Adam recommended the 3-2-1 method: liking three posts, commenting on two, and sharing one piece of content daily.

Thank you, Adam, for sharing your insights and expertise with us. Your practical tips on maximising LinkedIn's potential are invaluable!
