Early Years Practitioner Job in St. Andrews, Bristol at Zebedees Day Nursery - Jobcentre Near Me Here at Zebedees Nursery in St Andrews BS6, we are looking for level 2 / 3 Qualified Practitioners, working up to 40 hours a week, over 3, 4 or 5 days a week.

Underfunding is the biggest challenge facing all providers in the sector, resulting in a situation where maintained nursery schools, once the envy of the world, are closing, and most PVI providers can’t afford to pay their staff a wage commensurate with their qualifications and expertise.

Petition: Increase funding for early years settings We believe Government funding for early years settings is too low, and making it difficult to keep these settings open. This will only be more difficult with the increase in minimum wage. Everyone wants childcare standards high, but we believe more funding is needed to achieve this.
