WE TRAVELLED TO BRAZIL
Thank you to Caterina who shared her knowledge and experiences of Brazil with the children. They learned about Brazilian culture, traditions, and the significance of indigenous feather headdresses.

It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate cultural diversity, spark curiosity, and learn about the world.

A VISIT TO ITALY

Squeezing, rolling, spreading, chopping, sprinkling, slicing and learning the Italian words for all of the ingredients that we used to make pizzas.
Thank you Riccardo for coming in to teach us about making pizzas.

SCOTTISH CEILIDH
Everyone enjoyed the ‘Wee Granny’ story that Hamish read us this morning. He brought in his highland cow, showed us his tartan and caught to Scottish dance.
What fun we had!

GROWING
Digging, weeding, planting and watering.
We have been busy outside our preschool entrance planting vegetables. Fingers crossed that the slugs don’t undo all the children’s hard work!

FUN WAYS TO MEASURE
The children drew then measured dinosaur footprints.

How big? They used tape measures, camels, their feet/hands and each other to measure and compare how big they were.

Great mathematical language was used today, great understanding, new concepts learnt and lots of fun and excitement was had.
Well done Bluebirds. 👏🏻
