What an unforgettable day! 🦒🐻🦁

Our KS1 children had a fantastic time exploring the Bristol Zoo Project , discovering amazing animals from around the world and learning all about their habitats and how we can help protect wildlife.

From spotting bears and giraffes to asking brilliant questions and enjoying the great outdoors, it was a day full of curiosity, adventure and smiles. 🌿✨

We’re so proud of the children’s excellent behaviour, enthusiasm and kindness throughout the trip. Thank you to our staff and volunteers who helped make the day so special!

Some of the Year 3s enjoyed learning about moths this morning and looking up close at different species! They then released them into nature!

Thank you to one of the parents who volunteered to lead this session for us! We had a great time 💙

🏅 Sports Day – Friday 10th July 🏅

We’re looking forward to welcoming families to our School Sports Day on Friday 10th July! In the event of poor weather, our reserve date is Wednesday 15th July.

After KS2 Sports Day, families are invited to stay for a whole-school picnic on the field. Please note that if KS1 Sports Day finishes early, children must remain in school until the normal collection time of 3.15pm.

🥪 As we will be having a picnic lunch, there will be no hot dinners available. Sandwich options can be pre-ordered. If you would like a school packed lunch for your child, please contact the school office by Monday 6th July.

For details about what children need to bring, please refer to Mrs Williams’ information sent out by the office.

We can’t wait for a fantastic day of fun and sport! ☀️

Last week, a group of children from across the school had the wonderful opportunity to represent us and join the Endeavour Choir, singing alongside pupils from other local schools.

The children performed songs they have been practicing so enthusiastically at school and took part in a variety of fun and engaging musical workshops throughout the day. One of the highlights was exploring musical notation through nature! They used natural materials to create musical symbols and patterns, combining creativity, teamwork and musical learning in a unique outdoor environment! 🌿

It was a fantastic day and we are incredibly proud of how brilliantly our pupils represented our school. Well done to everyone who took part! 🎵✨

🌿🌊 Year 5 enjoyed a fantastic Geography fieldwork trip to the River Frome last Friday! As part of their river studies, the children measured the river’s width and depth, explored the water safely, and investigated the local environment firsthand.

The young geographers were delighted to spot a variety of wildlife, including dragonflies, water boatmen, and even leeches! 🦋🐜🪱

It was a wonderful opportunity to develop fieldwork skills, deepen their understanding of rivers and experience nature up close. Well done, Year 5! 👏💚 LearningBeyondTheClassroom
