Tanya’s Special Educational Needs advice and support. SEND support from Year 5 to Year 11 Hello! I’m Tanya. I am a mum of two children Hollie and Evie. I am also studying BA (Hons) Education at UWE, Bristol.

My Experience. I have two children both with special needs. I have ecperience in applying for disability living allowance and i applied for my daughters EHCP. I am in the process of applying for my 2nd daughter. I have helped a few parents to ensure school make resonable adjustments for there children and supported them during this. I have worked in the early years for a few years however my passion is helping children learn and thrive whilst supporting families with SEND

What I offer
I offer help with different aspects of SEND. Tutoring children, helping parents with applying for DLA and guiding them trough the EHCP process. Informal service to support your child in their home learning. year 5 to year 11 academic support with the national curriculum

Help with exams and revision support

Help children to know there worth by talking and listening to them. Free initial consultation or meeting with parent and/or child

Good news today from a parent I am helping the LA have agreed to an EHCP needs assessment. Still a long way to go but I'm soooo happy with what we habe achieved so far 😍

This week we found out that my Youngest may also have sensory processing disorder. I've not researched this yet. However if anyone can offer advice it would be amazing. Gonna do some research myself and share it with you x

I love helping parents In the space of a week 2 x emails to school. 1 x EHCP request done and 1 x EHCP request for mediation. that's not including my own I'm doing for my daughter. Please share with me your news this week x

Today I had a meeting with a parent and a school I am helping. Numerous stern emails and proving i know jy stuff and being easily led has paid off and things will be put into place. Now to ensure it actually happens The louder you shout the more you get what you need x
