Pleaseee don’t let this be a reason why you don’t go!

- look at your workouts in advance
- go with a friend
- book yourself an induction to get familiar work the equipment

get out your comfort zone and good things will happen 🥰

As a girl who has been going to the gym since I was about 17, I’ve made my fair few mistakes and would have made progress a lottt quicker if I’d of done these things!

1️⃣ Not thought that the only good workout was a sweaty one 🙄 endless hiit sessions which I never really enjoyed anyway! Find a way of movement that you ENJOY and can stick too

2️⃣Focused on mind to muscle connection and not rushed from one exercise to another. You need to feeel the muscle that you’re trying to work and and create tension in order for it to grow

3️⃣Not been scared to try and lift heavier 👎 using the same weight week after week isn’t doing anything for your progress

4️⃣Ate enough calories to fuel my workout 🤦‍♀️ how can you expect to see some muscle definition and sustain your progress if you are surviving on fumes

5️⃣ Gave myself proper rest days and stopped panicking that all my gains would be undone if I took a few days off

If you’re feeling stuck with the gym and seeing progress take a look and see if you might be guilty of any of these things ✨🙋‍♀️

ELIZA FINALLY CHANGED HER MINDSET AND THE RESULTS FOLLOWED 🤷‍♀️

Before working with me, Eliza had been stuck in a constant cycle of losing weight only to gain it back again shortly after 🥲

She was over exercising, struggling with an unhealthy relationship with food and training, and never really knew what she should actually be doing in the gym to see long-term progress!

The result was feeling frustrated, lacking confidence, unhappy with the way she looked, and constantly starting over.

Like a lot of women, she thought she needed to be doing more:

Training harder 
More workouts
Less food

But it only left her feeling burnt out and stuck in the same pattern 🥲

Soooo here’s what we changed:

🌸Built a structured training plan around her goals

🌸Focused on creating healthier habits with nutrition

🌸Prioritised her resistance training 

🌸Helped her improve her relationship with exercise

🌸Created a realistic routine she could actually maintain

Now Eliza consistently shows up to the gym every week, pushes herself in her sessions, feels stronger, and is building habits that support her long-term progress 👏

Most importantly she’s no longer trapped in the cycle of constantly losing and regaining weight

She’s building a lifestyle she can sustain with confidence 💪

Guilty of letting the scale dictate your mood? 👀😩

Obviously there is a place for knowing your weight and being aware of its fluctuations

BUT

If you are one of those women that gets completely demotivated and thrown off by the scales, then remember that the scales aren’t always showing the full picture of your hard work, or a reflection of your progress 🙋‍♀️

Most likely your dream body isn’t the weight you think it would be anyway so let’s stop fixating on your weight and start focusing on the other ways of measuring progress 🫶🏻

If I could only give women ONE piece of advice, it would be this

When was the last time you really pushed yourself? 🤔

Not just showed up… but actually pushed to the best of your ability and outside of what feels comfortable

Or are you someone who is just coasting right now?

because there’s a difference

I’m reallyy not saying you need to be at your absolute limit 24/7 but if you genuinely want to change your life, your mood, your body and general way that you think and feel about yourself then you can’t stay inside that comfort bubble forever! 🫧

If you’re wondering why nothing is changing, be honest with yourself and think about the level to which you are willing to push to get to where you want to be

💕 Could you push for a few more reps in the gym

💕Park your car a bit further away for more steps

💕 Say yes to more oppurtunties that scare you

💕Show up more for yourself and follow through with the things you say you’re going to do!

I get that change is really scary and most people don’t do anything at all for fear of failing butt your mindset could be the one thing holding you back from feeling your best both physically and mentally 🥺

And yes this exercise felt as savage as it looks 🙃
