Bishopsworth playgroup

Thanks to the two ladies that came and collected their items this morning. We have these odd items left now. If anyone could make use of them, someone will be there on Thursday morning. If not we will get rid of it all. Thanks so much to everyone who took our toys. It is lovely to hear which organisations and children will be using them.

Good morning, I will be at playgroup this morning from 9. We are at St Peter’s church, church road, next to the soft play.
Please come down and take a look at what we have left. I’ll try to put back things that has been requested but we can’t hold on to them for too long as we have to clear the room. Thank you, see you in a bit.

Thank you to everyone who came down today and took their items. We still have all this left. If you are interested let me know so I can arrange to let you in to take a look. It will be a shame for it to go to landfill.

We have done so well passing most of our equipment and toys on to other groups instead of going to the tip. We have random things left as shown in the photos so if anyone wants any of it please contact us. One of us will be able to let you go in and have a rummage through.

Well that’s the end of Bishopsworth playgroup! This was our final week and party day. We had a lovely time as always in SPARC. Thank you for being so generous and supportive ladies.
We would also like to thank St Peter’s church for enabling us to finish on a high at the end of this term and not half way through the year!
We really appreciate all the support from our current and past parents to enable us to serve the community for 40 years.
We are really sad to close but it makes us proud that you chose us to care for and nurture your young children. We have all absolutely loved doing this job and are going to miss it terribly.
Finally thank you for all our lovely gifts. It was really kind of you!

We are sorting out the toys for whoever asked for them. I can’t remember who said they wanted these? Can you please let me know if it was you, as we don’t want to give them to anyone else. Likewise if you no longer want anything please tell us so we can offer them to other groups. Thanks.

Just a reminder to join us this Friday to reminisce about playgroup days. It will be lovely catching up with previous staff, parents, grandparents, children, committee members, anyone with any connections at all to playgroup past and present. Everyone is invited! We only have two weeks left until we close! We have been enjoying the sunshine and our outdoor area.

If anyone would like any of our toys (indoor or outdoor) please speak to a member of staff and we will try to accommodate where possible. Some things are already allocated to various groups but everything needs to go, so please let us know what you want!

Playgroup will not be open tomorrow due to the heatwave.
It is far too hot in our room!
