RECEPTION 2025 - PARENT / CARER INFORMATION
We are delighted that your child has been offered a place to join us in September and we are looking forward to welcoming you to our school. If you have not yet accepted your place, please contact Bristol City Council admissions team on 0117 903 7694 or log into your Parent Portal account.
Key Dates:
-Thursday 3rd July 2pm - 2:45pm - We would like to invite all the children to come to school to meet the adults they will be working with and explore their new classroom. The session will last 45 minutes, parents are more than welcome to stay. They will spend time with their key adults and some of their new classmates. We deliberately keep these sessions short, as we do not want to overwhelm them. We want this visit to be the most positive it can be!
-Tuesday 8th July 4pm - This is a chance for all parent/cares to attend their child's new class room for an induction meeting. You will also have the chance to receive support and help in completing the admission paper work before they start in September.
-Monday 14th July 1:30pm - 2:30pm - This is the final transition afternoon before the big move in September. This is a opportunity for your child to attend for a settling in session with their peers. We do ask that parents/carers do not attend this, to allow their child to build their new found confidence in this new environment.

Where to go:
At the main pedestrian gate you will need to press the buzzer on the right hand side, the office will let you in and you will be directed towards the Reception Class.

We are so very excited to meet your children and cannot wait for them to be an asset to St Nicks. We look forward in building positive relationships with yourselves and working together to create powerful and intelligent young individuals.

Should you have any questions or queries then please do not hesitate to get in contact with the school office, 0117 377 2260.
