Last week we celebrated Diwali 🪔 at nursery. The kids were so engaged at doing their own Mehndi (henna) designs!
Our teacher Inayah showed and taught us all about this celebration practiced by many Hinduism, Jainism and Sikhism cultures, among others.
One of the main meanings of this beautiful festival is the “victory of light over darkness”.

Our toddler room has been enjoying learning following an autumnal theme this week:
Firstly, we have practiced our mathematical abilities with numbers and counting. It’s so exciting to recognise the numbers all around our room and environment!
And secondly, after talking and reading about the family, we picked up some leaves from our garden to develop our very own “toddler room family tree”! The children had so much fun, sharing, gluing and tap-taping the leaves onto the tree - we were so focused!

It’s safe to say our babies L O V E getting messy!
Experimenting with our feet, we took sensory play to the next level by engaging with and practising both our mark marking and motor skills! We had so much fun!
