It's time to apply for secondary school places for next year ⏰

If your child is currently:

🎒 In year 6 at primary or junior school
🎒 In year 8 at a middle school

You need to apply for them to transfer to their next phase in September 2025. Applications close at 11.59pm on Thursday 31 October 2024.

Please remember that North Somerset schools don’t offer middle to upper intake. However, schools in other local authorities may. If you live in North Somerset, you must submit your application to us – even if you’re applying for schools outside North Somerset 🏡

Over 400 students from eight primary schools joined forces with Churchill Students to deliver two evenings of music, dance and drama that told the tale of Shakespeare's The Tempest, at The Playhouse in Weston-super-Mare.

All the performers were fantastic and they should all be very proud of their achievements. Many thanks to all of the staff and students who were involved and anyone who came along to support.

A big shout out goes to the primary schools who put in so much hard work to make the evening such a success. Thank you Banwell Primary School, Blagdon Primary School, Burrington CofE Primary School, Churchill Primary School, Hutton CE Primary School, Sandford Primary, St Andrews Primary and Winscombe Primary.
