Within a Secondary School Full-time

I'm working with a fantastic large mixed secondary school who are on the lookout for a TA to join them in a full-time role. The position would be supporting Year 7-11 students in the classroom and in a 1:1 capacity. Often the students you will be supporting can display challenging behaviour so experience in this area is important.

Ideally the school are looking for someone who has worked in a school before, preferably with secondary aged children. The role is an incredibly rewarding one! As the behaviour of the children is tough, it makes it all the better when you really get through to that student. That is absolutely what the school will be looking for you to do, make positive impacts on these student's lives.

We're working with a multi-academy trust in Gloucestershire that are on the look out for SEND professionals to join the trust's team. They have a number of special schools in the trust and have an incredibly large variation of different opportunities within.

Have you worked in SEND before?
Do you have a caring, positive and enthusiastic personality?
Do you have good behaviour management?
If you have answered 'yes' to the above questions then we want to hear from you!

The roles they currently have available include 1:1, general class support, teaching amongst others. The schools look after a wide range of SEND including PMLD, SLD, ASD, MLD and Complex Needs from ages 5-19.

Though the work is incredibly rewarding in all of these schools it can also be quite taxing at times mainly due to experiencing challenging behaviour from the children so experience in this area is preferable. They are also looking for staff who are a genuine personalities so if you think this is you then apply now! Ideally you would be available for work immediately but this is not essential.
