Job Vacancy!
We are excited to be looking for a full time qualified staff member to join our P&P Family!
We care for all members of our P&P Family (children, staff and families) as individuals and you will never be a 'number'. As part of the P&P Family you will be valued and listened too - we love to hear all ideas our team have for our children, the nursery or for team nights out! Some of our benefits include a paid day off for your birthday (or closest working day), you will never have to work between Christmas and New Year as we are closed, bank holidays off, attendance bonus schemes, Christmas meal and games nights, dedicated staff room and kitchen which is always stocked with drinks and snacks to refuel with on one of your three breaks you have during the day, pension scheme and plenty of training opportunities!
A bit about us!
We are a family ran day nursery owned and managed by Lisa and Pete alongside their oldest daughter Shannon. Kerry (our other daughter runs and manages our preschool room and is our nursery SENDco). We all work full time and we have an open door policy where you can come to us for anything. We also have two nursery dogs - Obi and Obia who join us daily and spend time with the children (and staff!). Caitlin is our deputy manager who joined us when we first opened in 2021 as our toddler room lead and after a little break she came back to the P&P Family as our deputy manager. Our under 3's room is ran by Shannon and her second in charge Alesha. Our preschool room is ran by Kerry and her second in charge Ella. We always ensure we are over staffed and work on a smaller ratio than the legal requirements to ensure our children have the care and dedication they deserve and time for our staff to complete any paper work and get fun activities ready! Although we can have a maximum of 49 children a day we rarely have this many children as we want to maintain our small, family feel. Our under 3's have a capacity of 17 children a day but average around 13 children a day at the moment and our preschool room has capacity for 32 but we aim for 24 children (similar to a reception class).
We have a vacancy for a qualified person to join our team full time (ideally a level 3+ but for the right person we will consider a level 2 qualification). We have flexibility to which room you would work in and will decide your room depending on your experience and preference.
If you have any questions please let us know by sending us a private message, email or by giving us a call. If you would be interested in an application pack please email [email protected]
We look forward to hearing from you!
