Season ramping up into full swing. This week saw bring their Year 4’s to Bristol. Over the three days they crate stacked, got put through their paces on the adventure course and orienteering, did archery, problem solving and learned how to build a fire and gut and cook trout over it. They will be leaving later today with smiles on their faces and ready for an early night.

Way Ahead started the new academic year with a residential in the Peak District last week with pupils from . A walk and scramble up Ringing Roger, climbing at Burbage, weaselling and an abseil off a viaduct.

This week saw us taking Year 10 students from KCC on a number of 28 hour residentials on Dartmoor. We crammed in the activities and had many discussions on the learnings.
