We were thrilled to welcome MAD Science to Filton Avenue Primary School recently for an exciting and action-packed science assembly! 🧪⚡
Our pupils were amazed by a series of fun and interactive demonstrations, truly bringing science to life. From mind-blowing reactions to fascinating forces, there were plenty of “wow” moments that sparked curiosity and excitement across the hall! 🤩
The children loved getting involved, asking questions, and seeing how science is all around us in the most unexpected ways. Experiences like this help inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators! 🚀

🌟 Golden Ticket Tea Celebration! 🌟
This week, some of our wonderful children from all phases enjoyed a very special Golden Ticket Tea with the Mr. Rodeck, Mrs. Stefanini, Mrs. McCorry and Mrs. Lackie! 🍰✨
The children were invited to celebrate their fantastic achievements and outstanding behaviour. During the tea, they had the chance to chat about their favourite things in school, sharing what makes them feel happy, proud and excited to learn. 💬📚
It was a lovely opportunity to recognise their hard work and hear their voices. We are so proud of each and every one of them – a truly well-deserved treat! 💛

🦖🎤 What a ROAR-some day at Filton Avenue Primary School! 🎤🦖
We were thrilled to welcome Andy Dino Raps from to school for an amazing visit with our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children! ⭐
Andy had everyone singing, laughing and joining in – and he even brought a very special guest… Brambles the Dinosaur! 🦕
The children had loads of fun and were thoroughly entertained throughout the visit. Smiles, laughter and dino-moves filled the hall, making it a truly memorable experience for everyone involved. 💚

⚔️ Year 4 Viking Day! ⚔️
Year 4 had an amazing time welcoming visitors Primary History Workshops into school for an exciting Viking Day, bringing their history learning vividly to life!
The children loved finding out about Viking life, traditions, weapons and raids, and enjoyed exploring artefacts and hands-on activities that helped them step back in time. 🛡️🪓
A huge thank you to our visitors for making the day so engaging and memorable — Year 4 were fascinated from start to finish! 💛

🌟 Year 5 Ancient Egypt Day! 🌟
Year 5 had a fantastic time welcoming visitors into school last week Primary History Workshops to help bring their learning about Ancient Egypt to life! 🐍✨
The children loved exploring fascinating artefacts, learning about pharaohs, pyramids and daily life along the River Nile. It was a brilliant, hands-on experience that really inspired their curiosity and excitement for history.
