This post is to celebrate Abbie Chen, a BSSR researcher who has now been published beyond BSSR, in the BILT student journal. 📑 Their paper 'Un(trans)formed: How Does the Law Surrounding Gender Recognition Following AP Garcon and Nicot v France Still Manifest as Reproductive Injustice?' critically examines apparent progress in trans reproductive rights and the role medical providers play. 🎉 Researcher Spotlight 🎉
Radhika Mitra, a research analyst at BSSR, has gone above and beyond to improve her social science research skills this year as Research and Engagement Assistant for the Bristol Transport Project. 🚐 As the only undergraduate volunteer, she worked towards the development of a more equitable transport policy. 🧡 She will be attending a Policy Symposium for the project findings tomorrow. 🎤 Well done, Radhika!
