🎉 CELEBRATING SIX YEARS! 📚✏️🔢
Next Sunday marks a very special milestone for my small business! It will be 6 years that I started Hannah’s Home Tutoring with the vision to help students access learning at a pace tailored specifically to their needs, strengths and interests. 🌻 👩🏼🏫
Reflecting on this, my ‘why?’ has never changed since beginning this learning journey. To me, learning is so much more than ‘getting it right’, it’s all about having the confidence and the accessibility to achieve. Tailoring each activity and session allows children to understand concepts in a way that works for them.
I often say there’s no such thing as a silly question and I believe I provide a safe learning environment that allows children to make mistakes, learn from these and see them as a process in learning instead of feeling defeated. Making each child feel empowered is something I feel incredibly strong about and this is echoed in my teaching approach and planning.
Learning should feel fun and something we can do if sometimes, we just have to apply a slightly different lens and approach. Helping students turn their "I can’t do this" into "I got this!" is the most rewarding work I could ask for.
To all the students out there returning to school in September, you've got this. And to the parents looking for support, I'm always here to help!
