Dragon Boat Festival is almost here 🐉❤️
This week, children from different classes at Cubbies learned about the Dragon Boat Festival, with each class exploring the topic at a different level ✨
Our beginner class children also shared a little story about the Dragon Boat Festival. We hope that not only the Cubbies families, but everyone watching can also feel the warmth and joy of the festival 🌿

This year, our little cubbies joined Wai Yee Hong’s community performance event.
From practising backstage to stepping onto a stage full of audience,
every moment still feels so special looking back ❤️
The happiest thing was seeing the children confidently singing Cantonese nursery rhymes,
bringing Cantonese beyond the classroom and into the local community 🦁

暑假就快到啦！暑假期間，小朋友們都會參加不同活動，因此未能如常進行恆常中文班。每年一到暑假，Kristy 老師都會擔心小朋友慢慢忘記剛剛一年所學的內容 😭
有見及此，今年 Cubbies 特別於暑假期間增設 Online 中文加強班，希望讓小朋友即使放暑假，都能持續接觸中文 ，透過遊戲、故事鞏固所學📚
課堂將會透過：
1. 閱讀中文故事
2. 加強詞語運用及口語表達
3. 根據啟蒙 / 基礎班課程內容進行認讀訓練
希望能在暑假期間幫助小朋友加強認讀流暢度、鞏固已學知識，並更自然地運用學過的詞語及句式 。

Summer is just around the corner! During the holidays, many children will be busy with different activities, so our regular Chinese classes will pause as usual. Every summer, Ms Kristy worries that children may gradually forget what they have learned throughout the year 😭
With this in mind, Cubbies will be launching special Online Chinese Enrichment Classes during the summer holidays, so children can continue to stay connected with Chinese through games, stories, and interactive activities 📚✨
Lessons will include:
1. Reading Chinese stories
2. Strengthening vocabulary usage and spoken Chinese
3. Character recognition practice based on the Beginner / Intermediate class curriculum
We hope these classes will help children improve their reading fluency, consolidate what they have learned, and use familiar vocabulary and sentence patterns more naturally throughout the summer 💛
