Elmtree Preschool

We’ve absolutely loved seeing the transition to Cotham Gardens Primary School for some of our Elmtree children this year ❤️

Elmtree has been based within the school grounds for a year now, and this year it has been wonderful to see how much the familiarity of the school, the playground and some of the teachers has supported their transition. They already know the journey to school, recognise familiar faces and have a sense of where they are going - helping that big step into school feel a little smaller and more manageable 🌱

We feel very lucky to be part of such a lovely school community and to be able to support our children as they take this next step in their learning journey.

If your child is starting school next September, take a look at the post below for information about Reception places and visits. Cotham Gardens Primary School

🌳 Parent Survey Results 2026 🌳

A huge thank you to all of our families who took the time to complete our recent parent survey.

We are delighted to share that 100% of respondents selected either 'Agree' or 'Strongly Agree' across all survey questions, and 100% said they would recommend Elmtree Preschool to other families.

Some of the lovely comments we received included:

✨ "A warm and welcoming environment."
✨ "Becky and her team really seem to care about all the children."
✨ "Brilliant activities."
✨ "Good communication and care."
✨ "My child always seems to have had a good day."
✨"They are always trying their best."
✨"They are flexible and understanding."
✨"Such a caring and supportive preschool."

We are incredibly grateful for your kind words and continued support. As a small preschool, personal recommendations and word of mouth make such a difference to us, so thank you to everyone who continues to support and recommend Elmtree Preschool.

⏰ The survey also explored our current opening hours and session structure.
ℹ️ We can confirm that our sessions will remain the same for the next academic year; Monday - Thursday, 8.40 - 12.00 or 8.40 - 3.15
(Term time only)

❤️ Whilst we received no suggestions for improvement via the survey, we remain committed to reflecting on our practice, developing our provision, and ensuring the very best experience for our children and families.

Thank you for being part of our Elmtree community 🌳
