Book to attend this lecture with Ashley Hibbard, Centre for the Study of Bible and Violence Director of Operations, on 9 May at Tyndale Baptist Church. Ashley lives in Canada so don’t miss out while she’s here.
“Many Christians struggle to know how to navigate the goodness of God in Old Testament texts. Biblical law can sometimes seem to be more of a cause of violence than a part of its solution. Join us for a public lecture and Q&A with Dr. Ashley Hibbard as she shows us the purposes of Leviticus, and discusses the interpretive skills needed to appreciate how this book's focus on holiness, ritual, and order point us toward a God who transforms his people to be agents of his peace and justice in the world.”

Community weeks provide a chance to go deeper into important and sensitive topics. They're also a great time to build community and strengthen relationships that often last a life time!
Our Bristol and Exeter Ministers-in-Training stayed at Hebron Hall for this community week. Paul, Louisa and Ruth explored Penarth and found the oldest church there; the herringbone masonry from the 12th century can still be seen today. The group visited the Senedd on their last day, and were treated to a rainbow as they crossed the Prince of Wales bridge on their way home.
